Job Description – Full-Time Regular
Position responsibilities consist of performing a variety of maintenance activities related to the preservation of the property. This would include daily preventive activities and repairs; ensuring effective operation of property equipment along with carpentry and remodeling projects.
A high school education or equivalent plus a minimum of two years of experience in a construction or maintenance environment is required. Prior experience in basic carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical and vehicle and small engine maintenance is preferred. Applicant must possess a valid, insurable Wisconsin driver’s license. Plowing/snow removal, CDL operator license and CPO training preferred.
Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Must be able to manage and maintain confidential and sensitive information with diplomacy and tact and maintain a professional demeanor in stressful situations as necessary.
Applicant will be required to work the first 45-90 days on a variety of day and swing shifts (including weekends). After initial training, applicant will be required to cover a variation of weekday and weekend day and swing shifts. Starting rate is $11 to $15 per hour based on experience.
