Help Local Children Bundle Up for Winter During Warm Up to Winning at Lake of the Torches

Help ensure local children stay warm during the cold winter months by donating a children’s winter clothing item during Warm Up to Winning this November at Lake of the Torches Resort Casino.

Club Advantage members are invited to donate a new pair of children’s mittens or gloves or a hat on Sundays (except November 2) at the casino’s Guest Services or Club Advantage desks from 7:30 a.m. until 11 p.m. The casino will also accept gently used children’s winter coats.

Club members will receive $10 Free Play on each Sunday they donate a children’s winter clothing item. Anyone who is not a member can sign up for a membership on any day. It’s quick, simple and free!

All items collected will be donated to the Lac du Flambeau Public School. School officials and teachers will distribute clothing items to children on an as needed basis to replace lost clothing items or children who do not have a hat or a pair of mittens on a particularly cold day.

“Help us ensure that local children will have adequate clothing during the cold winter months this year. Plus, you’ll receive $10 Free Play to help you on your way to a winning day!” said Lake of the Torches’ Director of Marketing Leana Schlecht.
