Help Local Children Stay Bundled This Winter By Participating in Warm Up to Winning

Help ensure local schoolchildren are properly dressed for the upcoming winter weather by participating in Warm Up to Winning in November at Lake of the Torches Resort Casino.

Club Advantage members are encouraged to donate a new pair of children’s mittens/gloves or a hat on Tuesdays in November. Items can be dropped off at the casino’s Guest Services or Club Advantage desks between 7:30 a.m. – 10 p.m. We’ll also accept gently used children’s winter coats.

For their generosity, Club members will receive $10 Free Play on each Tuesday they donate a children’s winter clothing item. Anyone 21 and older who is not a member can join Club Advantage on any day to participate. It’s quick, simple and free!

All collected items will be donated to the Lac du Flambeau Public School. School officials and teachers will distribute the hats, mittens and coats to children on an as-needed basis to replace lost clothing items or for children who come to school without the proper winter clothing on a particularly cold day.

“Please join us in ensuring every local child is protected from the cold and the winter elements this year. We thank all of our Club members who participated in the past and encourage everyone to help us make this year’s Warm Up to Winning an even bigger success!” said Lake of the Torches’ Director of Marketing Leana Schlecht.
